Clearly, on Instagram, Hailey Baldwin didn't shame Selena Gomez

In now-deleted comments, she cleared the air.
Hailey Bieber (born Baldwin) clarified that she was not "responding" to the new single by Selena Gomez, "Lose You To Love Me," in her comments she wrote and later deleted on Instagram.
Shortly after the release of Gomez's new song, which is widely speculated about ex-beau and Hailey's newly anointed boyfriend, Justin Bieber, Hailey shared an apparently mysterious Instagram Story.
Ailey Bieber wants to set the record straight: she didn't shade Selena Gomez because she seemed to have composed a song about her new husband.

Gomez recently released "Lose You To Love Me," a heart-wrenching ballad about creating self-love after a relationship has ended, with some seemingly pointed lyrics to Justin Bieber and his marriage to Hailey.

Since Gomez dropped the new breakup anthem in 2019, Hailey shared an Instagram story of a song she was listening to, Summer Walker's "I'll Kill You," which seemed suspiciously to channel a message to Gomez.
The album, which contains heartening lyrics such as "You don't want any issues, I want a bitch / Tryna to come between us, it won't end up good / you know I love you like nobody else can," expresses a fatalistic commitment to a romantic partner, where the singer vows to "go to hell and prison" for her husband. Cue all the emoji with wide eyes!
But, apparently, after all, Hailey wasn't targeting Gomez. After JustJared posted to Instagram about the ordeal, Hailey made now-deleted comments that read, "Please stop this nonsense ... there is no ' response. '
