Selena Gomez Deleted a photograph advertising the brand of Kim Kardashian and posted Taylor Swift on "Ride or Die"

Swifties were not impressed with Gomez sporting the SKIMS brand of Kardashian.

Who would be a celebrity in the stan wars era, eh? The newest to fall foul of the unspoken stan code of honor: Selena Gomez, who infuriated Swifties by pretending to support Kim Kardashian, a lifelong enemy of Gomez's close friend Taylor Swift.
ON Monday night, Gomez made what Swift's fanbase found to be an inappropriate move, as reported by ELLE: she posted a picture on her Instagram story wearing Kardashian's shapewear line, SKIMS, writing, "Legit so freaking cozy."Who has been calling Kardashian Enemy Number One since the infamous 2016 Snapchat incident? (Apparently, no one thought Gomez preferred the shapewear only.)

The entire affair is still pretty raw with Swift, who spoke in her cover story of Vogue September about her subsequent ' cancelation, ' calling it "humiliating" and explaining, "When you're going through grief or humiliation or guilt, it's a grieving process with so many micro-emotions in a day." And Swifties didn't hesitate to make their feelings known on Facebook, chastising Gomez for even remotely associating with Kim Kardashian.
While Gomez did not comment directly on the backlash, the post was removed — and followed up with a pretty explicit statement about her love of Swift. Posting a pair photo (and an extraordinarily fluffy cat)
Gomez wrote on her Instagram story, "My ride or die. I'd die for this one," continuing, "Thank you for being by my side forever. You've taught me so much, walked through all this with me, STAYED and remind me to be a better human being. I'm on your side for life."

That should make it all quite clear: Gomez and Swift are still friends for a lifetime, and there was really no need to worry (or threaten anyone) at all. The lesson for today? A bodysuit is really just a bodysuit sometimes.
