She sings, "You turned me down, and now it shows / in two months you've replaced us / like it was easy." Ryan said, "The two-month lyrics would be worse for us than going through a breakup.
Selena decided to saying that when things fizzled between them, she was used to Justin moving on quickly. She wrote, "She said,
No doubt, I think you know, I'm extremely appreciative too in light of the fact that I've really encountered that a million times previously and that is the grievous part about what I do. So it's everything genuine to me, and I'm certain it's only stimulation for other individuals, however I just—I think I had turned out to be numb to it, and it would be moronic of me in the event that I didn't recognize what I had felt since it would be inauthentic, and that is all that I guarantee to be and do [being authentic] I know there are a large number of individuals, people, who have felt this inclination, and it's very genuine, and over the web based life and everything, it doesn't make a difference in case you're in my position or in case you're in somebody's since you're continually going to some way or another locate this pessimistic space. It's simply that is what—that is the reason I must be cautious, and I simply need to make strides back and simply center around what I'm doing and nobody else.

To the point that any residual drama Selena might have with Hailey or Justin, she's moved on absolutely. She said, "I was wrapping up a chapter in a nice little bow with these two songs," she said. "And the rest of the album is all about where I am now and where I think I'm going, these are great songs, but I saved the best for later."
