Selena Gomez claims that she is a single lady

The relationship of Selena Gomez always seems to be a topic of conversation due to her music. Her song, "Lose You To Love Me," took the conversation back to Justin Bieber, her childhood flame. A recent meeting with another ex-boyfriend sparked rumors that she might be jumping back into the dating pool, but Gomez clarified on Wednesday that she is still single.

Amid claims that she rekindled her supposed affair with fashion executive Samuel Krost, Gomez posted a post on her Instagram story. "I'm not dating anyone. I've been single for two years. I'm not on my gods," Selena wrote.
Pictures circulated on Tuesday from Selena grabbing a bite to eat at New York City's La Esquina restaurant with Krost. Gomez and Krost, after being pictured holding hands, are reported to be dating back in November 2015. The reportedly dated but broke up in 2016 for several months. Krost reportedly wrote a few months later about his split with the star. "Even though we went separately at least I know there is love. I love you, Sel, "Krost said in a deleted post.
Earlier this week, Selena appeared on the "Zach Sang Show" and discussed her relationship status there as well. The singer said she's "super, super single." Selena noted during the interview that it took her album so long to be satisfied because she got the motivation over the past year for her two new singles.

"It's been four years," she said, referring to her album. "Two years ago I was going to release it and I'm so glad that I didn't because I didn't have half the content I've got now."
On October 22, Selena released "Lose You To Love Me" and the very next day released "Look At Her Now." Between the two tracks, Gomez's development as an artist can be seen and they make an interesting juxtaposition. The first song is essentially about a broken heart and self-worth realization, and the second is a triumphant anthem to overcome love's adversities.

Fans believe Selena's first album is about her relationship with Justin Bieber and, coincidentally, Hailey Bieber shared a picture of Summer Walker's song, "I'll Kill You" right after the song was released. Ms. Bieber later responded by saying that her post was not an answer to Selena's song.
By "liking" a photo of the singer celebrating her recent musical success, Hailey ended up showing Selena's support.
